Pallet-Track Awards 2018

This years awards ceremony was held at The De vere in Nottingham and attended by 400 Network members. We are back to back winners of the South East Pallet-Track Regional Award, chosen for our continued high delivery performance, service levels, sales and administration.

Semi Electric Pump Trucks

We have invested in another 15 semi electric pump trucks for our drivers to carry out tail lift deliveries. These trucks allow our drivers to manoeuvre heavy pallets safely on and off vehicles to business and domestic addresses. This puts us ahead of our competition for driver retention and attraction.

“Top Gun” wins Top Float prize at Northfleet Carnival

Well Done Lewis Preece nick name “Top Gun” for parading his truck around on Saturday 1st July in the Northfleet Carnival, winning top Float prize for his son’s football team “Collier Colts”.  Top marks to “Top Gun” and his team for the hours of decoration. A great time was had by all, we were glad to be of assistance.

North Kent Distribution Delivery Performance

North Kent Distribution have started the year where they left off last year with Pallet Track’s closely monitored KPI Performance, January they managed Gold Status 98 – 99%, February and March 2017 they have achieved Platinum Status 99.4%. With close to 4,000 pallets delivered per month with a mere 15 minute tolerance on timed deliveries this is a huge achievement. Gary Knight stated:

“this shows the dedication and hard work to all our members of staff, from our office staff, day drivers as well as our Night trunk drivers for having our trucks back at 05:00hrs each day. We have taken on two additional day drivers in January to aid growth not only from our customers old and new going forward but for our Pallet Network which is growing 16% year on year”

New semi-electric pallet trucks

NKD have taken delivery of our first five semi-electric pallet trucks from SHS Handling in Northampton. With the increase in online sales and domestic deliveries this will help our drivers in a number of ways. Not a great deal bigger than a standard pallet truck they are easy to manoeuvre and self-driven, they have been greatly received by our drivers.

New staff uniforms

Continuing with their Corporate identitiy North Kent Distribution have just taken delivery of their new Staff Uniforms, dual branded with their Pallet Network Pallet Track these have been greatly received by the workforce, newer light weight Polo shirts were chosen to help with the ever increasing summer temperatures.

North Kent Distribution fleet renewal

After Market research and part of their fleet renewal program North Kent Distribution have chosen MAN 7.5t Vehicles to cover their smaller Domestic and Commercial deliveries, fully specified with Automatic gearboxes, 4 Cameras for Urban Safety and better driver awareness fully compliant to FORS Silver accreditation.

Pallet Track Host Annual Gala Dinner and Awards 2016

This year Hosted by Booby Davro with Guest comedian Ed Byrne North Kent Distribution were Nominated for Several awards including Best South Eastern Depot, narrowly missing out to Prestige Distribution, and Most Improved Sales Award being piped by our fellow member Mobile Freight Services in Birmingham. Gary Knight quoted “it was great to get the recognition from the Board at Pallet Track, our business has grown substantially in the last year through the dedication and commitment of all our staff, from our drivers through to our Customer Service Team where cutting corners will get us no-where, end to end visibility, reliability and honesty is where we have gained business”
